SIMI has been promoting Quality over the years as a differentiating factor of the service provided, based on the needs of our Customers.
In 2004, SIMI obtained the certification according to the ISO 9001 standard, thus validating the good practices aimed at the continuous improvement of its processes and always focused on the satisfaction of its customers.
In a market where the competitive advantage achieved by Quality is ending, as Quality will no longer be a factor of differentiation and will become a basic requirement of the service, it is necessary to introduce new differentiation factors such as innovation, tailored made solutions, optimizing resources and reducing costs to maintain these achievable advantages and promote an add value to our clients.
Welding
SIMI currently has the latest welding technologies with the aim of increasing productivity and the quality of the final product, being certified according to the ISO 3834-2 standard "Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials - Part 2 : Comprehensive quality requirements ".
Equipped with a Welding Department and a Qualified Welding Engineer (IWE / EWE), the most appropriate processes are defined for each project, taking into account client requirements, maximizing productivity and quality required.
SIMI has welding equipment for the following processes:
- Welding by coated electrodes (111 according to EN ISO 4063 / SMAW according to ASME IX)
- TIG welding (141 according to EN ISO 4063 / GTAW according to ASME IX)
- Welding by self-protected fluxed wire (114 according to EN ISO 4063 / FCAW according to ASME IX)
- Submerged arc welding (121/123/125 according to EN ISO 4063 / SAW according to ASME IX)
- Gas shielded welding and continuous solid electrode wire (131/135 according to EN ISO 4063 / GMAW according to ASME IX)
- Welding with gaseous protection and continuous flowing electrode wire (136/138 according to EN ISO 4063 / FCAW according to ASME IX)
- Welding of Bolts (783 according to EN ISO 4063)
